ABOUT HAYLEE
Haylee Landry was born in San Diego, California, but grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Her journey in dance started at age three at Academie De Ballet. While Haylee is passionate about performing, she also has developed a love for production and arts management. Haylee is a light-hearted character who loves to laugh with others, while also spreading kindness and positivity. To dive deeper into her story, let's rewind the clock!
HOW IT STARTED
Haylee began her dance journey at Academie De Ballet when she was just three years old. While specializing in ballet, she also honed her skills in various dance styles. Haylee dedicated multiple years to her studio's competition team, earning numerous accolades and scholarships. She expresses deep gratitude for the unwavering support from her teachers and friends. After fifteen years at Academie De Ballet, she took her final bow among those who have helped shape the person she is today. Dance has always held a special place in Haylee's heart and will continue to be a part of her life.
Even though Haylee is originally from California, her dad’s military duties took her family to the East Coast. She comes from a crazy family of five with 4 dogs, 2 cats, 2 birds, and 4 guinea pigs. Haylee’s family has always supported her dreams and she wouldn’t be where she is today without them.
OKLAHOMA CITY UNIVERSITY
Haylee was admitted to Oklahoma City University (OCU) to pursue her passion for performing. She is currently a student at the Ann Lacy School of Dance and Entertainment at OCU, where she has flourished both artistically and personally. Haylee has honed her skills in various dance forms including ballet, jazz, rhythm tap, and theater dance. Additionally, she has been actively involved in the Star Dance Company, showcasing her talents in performances like "Holiday Spectacular" and "MOVE!".
Haylee is currently working towards a Bachelor’s of Science in Dance and Arts Management, a unique and versatile degree. This program has equipped Haylee with skills in dance performance and provided opportunities to delve into the management aspects of the arts. Haylee has completed courses in Stage Management, Development & Fundraising, Touring Arts Organizations, Arts Production, and Dance Studio Management. In addition, she has studied business, marketing, ethics, and finance.

PHI MU
After a 20-hour journey across the country, Haylee sought a deeper connection at OCU. She found it by becoming a member of Phi Mu Epsilon Epsilon, where she honed leadership abilities, gained confidence, and formed lifelong bonds with her sisters. Within Phi Mu, she took on various roles such as serving on the Honor Committee, overseeing sisters' well-being, leading as Provisional Membership Director, guiding new members through an intensive 8-week process, and as Membership Director, steering the organization through recruitment. Haylee is grateful for the enriching experiences Phi Mu has provided, allowing her to contribute to the community through volunteering and positively impacting families at Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

Beyond dance, Haylee finds joy in so many things. She loves to go to the beach for a swim, a sunset walk, or to read a good book. She also has a deep love for Disney from going to the parks to watching any Disney movie.
She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family, as well as her cats and dogs. You may also find Haylee taking pictures of nature and her adventures.
She loves to serve her community in any way she can. Haylee competes in pageants which has allowed her to develop confidence, poise, scholarship, and be able to serve those around her.

Haylee is currently working towards her Bachelors of Science at Oklahoma City University. She is in her senior year of college and is looking forward to all postgraduate opportunities!
